Targeting Higher FVIII Levels: a Narrative Review

This review sets out the rationale for targeting higher FVIII activity levels in haemophilia A. It weighs the limitations of traditional prophylaxis approaches against the persistent burden of bleeding, joint damage and reduced quality of life and gathers the evidence linking higher FVIII levels with fewer bleeds and better joint health.
